SHINKEI Easter Edition Review

SHINKEI Easter Edition presents a charming challenge centered around matching beautifully illustrated watercolor Easter eggs. While the concept is straightforward, players may find that this memory matching game requires more skill than initially anticipated, as it effectively engages both cognitive abilities and memory retention.

This game follows the classic format reminiscent of the traditional card game Concentration, which is known by various names, including Pelmanism, Pexeso, and Shinkei Suijaku in Japan—a term suggesting a nerve-wracking experience. The title "Shinkei," translating directly to "Nerves," encapsulates the thrilling aspect of the gameplay.

High scores can be tracked via Game Center, adding a competitive edge to the experience.

Gameplay Mechanics

The game consists of a 4 by 6 grid with 24 spots housing 12 sets of Easter egg pairs. Initially, all spots are concealed, revealing only their backs. Players may flip over two spots per turn. When a matching pair is uncovered, those eggs disappear from play. The objective is to find all pairs within the grid. Participants can approach the game with a focus on achieving high scores or enjoy a more leisurely pace.

Two Player Mode

SHINKEI Easter Edition also offers an engaging two-player mode, allowing friends, couples, or siblings to compete on the same device, making it an entertaining option for family interactions. Players alternate turns, attempting to match the Easter eggs. A successful match grants an additional turn to the player. The overall winner is determined by who has amassed the most pairs by the end of the game.

For added customization, users can adjust their ad privacy settings between personalized (with tracking) and general options.
